Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you book through one, the provider pays us a small commission. It does not change your price and it does not change the verdict on the page.

The affiliate programmes are GetYourGuide (tours and activities), Klook (tickets and activities, via Travelpayouts), TripAdvisor (tours and attraction tickets, via Rakuten Advertising), Agoda (hotels, via the Agoda Partners programme), TourRadar (multi-day tours), and the trip-kit links — Airalo (eSIM), Kiwi.com (flights) and GetTransfer (airport transfers), all via Travelpayouts, and SafetyWing (travel insurance). The link is tagged so the sale is attributed to us. You pay exactly what you would have paid going to the provider directly.

Affiliate links carry rel="sponsored" so search engines see them for what they are. Links in a page’s Sources box, Google Maps directions and links to official venue or operator sites are never affiliate links. Many pages carry no affiliate link at all.

No provider pays for placement or for a better verdict here. When a page tells you to tap a contactless card and skip the ¥2,500 tourist pass, or to walk the temple circuit for free, that is the recommendation even though the free answer earns us nothing and a tour would. The commission follows the honest answer; it does not set it.

We do not reprint providers’ star ratings, review counts or booking counts, and we never publish a rating of our own or add one to the site’s structured data. Where a provider’s cancellation terms matter, check them on the listing itself before you pay — they vary by product.
